高阳酒徒，典出《史记·郦生陆贾列传》。秦末汉初，陈留高阳乡（今河南杞县）有一个叫郦食其的人。他家境贫穷，又没有职业，只好在乡里做了里监门（相当于地保）。

Gao Yang Liquor, the "Historical Records Lishenglujialiechuan". At the end of the Qin and early Han dynasties, Chen Liugao Township(now Henan County) had a person who ate it. His family was poor and he had no occupation. He had to be a supervisor in the countryside(equivalent to a land insurance).

当刘邦率军路过陈留的时候，郦食其碰见了一位老乡----刘邦手下的一个骑兵。他让这个骑兵向刘邦推荐他，说可以帮助刘邦成就大事。

 When Liubanglv passed Chen Liu, Li Yuqi met a fellow Countryman, a cavalry under Liu Bang. He asked the cavalry to recommend him to Liu Bang and said that he could help Liubangchengjiu.

这个骑兵真的向刘邦推荐了郦食其，刘邦就让郦食其来见他。

This cavalry really recommended to Liu Bang that he eat it, and Liu Bang let him eat it to see him.

这天，门卫通报说郦食其来了。刘邦问：“是个什么样的人？”

On this day, the doorman reported that Li Qi had come. Liubangwen: "What kind of person is he? "

门卫回答：“像个儒生。”刘邦历来对读书人有一种偏见，听说郦食其是个儒生，便说：“我正忙着天下大事，没有时间见读书人。”

The doorman replied: "Like a Confucian scholar. "Liu Bang has always had a prejudice against scholars. When he heard that he was a Confucian student, he said:" I am busy with world affairs and have no time to see scholars. "

门卫把刘邦的话传给了郦食其。郦食其生气地说：“你再告诉刘邦，我是高阳酒徒，不是什么儒生。”

The guard passed on Liu Bang's words to Li Yuzhi. Li Yu said angrily: "You tell Liu Bang again that I am a Gaoyang drinker and I am not a Confucian scholar. "

在楚汉战争中，郦食其劝说齐王田广归汉，而韩信乘机袭击了齐国。

In the Chu-Han War, Qi Yu persuaded Qi Wangtianguang to return to Han, and Han Xin took the opportunity to attack Qi.

齐王以为郦食其出卖了他，便把他烹死了。根据这个故事，后人将“高阳酒徒”引为成语，指好饮酒而狂放不羁的人。

Qi Wang thought that he had betrayed him and cooked him to death. According to this story, later generations cited the "Gaoyang Liquor" as an idiom, referring to people who were drunk and wild.
